COMM 131 - Introduction to Marketing
"I really enjoyed having Professor Ok. She was great in communicating the content to students and the application sessions were really helpful in understanding the course material."
"Extremely engaging classes. Presentation slides were all visually appealing and well-organized. I really liked this class!"
"Professor Ok encouraged students' participation in all aspects of the class. She gave constructive feedback on every student's comment. She presented the material in the most effective way using relevant, recent examples. She encourage stuents to visit her office hours and highlighted the specific hours as part of her lecture."
"Professor Ok is a very kind and knowledgable professor. Thank you for the amazing half of the semester Prof. Ok!"
"I really enjoy this class. Especially the opportunities to talk in class. I have become more outgoing, communicative, and confident."
COMM 365 - Marketing Research
"I loved Ekin! From the very get go it was so obvious to me that she was very prepared for each class and that she genuinely wanted us to do well. Her annotated rubrics are AMAZING and tell you exactly what she is looking for, and every time I emailed her for help I got a response almost immediately. All of my group mates have been touched by her responsiveness and how sweet and helpful she is. Her feedback is also excellent as it is the perfect balance of telling you exactly how you can improve while also making sure she compliments what you did right. I honestly do not have a single negative thing to say about Ekin and I can confidently say she is one of the best profs I've had throughout my five years at Sauder."
"You were definitely the kindest prof I have ever had! It was clear that you really cared about your students and their understanding of the class. I thought the slides were very informative and the assignments a good evaluation of what we were taught. The fact that you promptly responded to emails with as much detail as possible really meant a lot and is a rarity with professors. I really appreciate that you took the time from your busy PhD commitments for the class. One of my fave profs!"
"Ekin your casual demeanour and attitude (while still extremely professional) made it much easier for us to learn in class. I really appreciate that you would take the time to reply to any and all questions sent via email, even at odd times. After our midterm evaluations, I also saw that you incorporated our feedback."
"Love the concern you have for us and the amount of effort you put into writing individual feedbacks for our assignments. Thank you for your dedication in teaching!"
"Loved that there were real-life examples from guest lecturers. This really helped envision the practicality of our learning. Really appreciated your openness and approachable nature. The recap at the end of each class was helpful in retaining more information. SPSS and R Tutorials literally saved me in 2+ courses."
"Lots of room for questions in class, very good at explaining concepts, engaging, fair marker."
